ALOOOOHAAAAAAA!!! :D:D:D
As the title explains, I'm just trying to keep my blog alive ( at least a lil..:P) after quite a long break! XD
Well, a looooooooot of changes and exciting things happened in the past 4 months ( too many to be listed down..:P). But anyway, I would just like to highlight this ONE particular thing : I'M IN INTI SUBANG JAYA!! :D haha
yes, i've enrolled in Inti College Subang Jaya for A levels. Though I failed to get a scholarship from the government, I still thank God as Inti offers full scholarship for straight 'A's students. :)
5th of July 2010 was first day they started calling me a 'college student'. I would never forget my first day in college cause there were just a lot of sweet things that happened. One of'em is to meet my awesome, sweet and wonderful classmates(JUS1) and lecturers. Yeah, they're AWESOME!! Each and everyone of them are nice and unique in their own ways. Though most of them enrolled on May, they seem to accept me and some of the other newcomers open-heartedly; this made us feel goooooooood... :D
It've just been 4 weeks since I started studying at Inti, but seriously I feel as though I've been here for a long period of time. That's how I actually feel to be here; a part of JUS1 in Inti Subang Jaya. Hopefully, my upcoming days in Inti will be even more exciting and I wish to know more about each and every single classmates of mine a.s.a.p... AMEN!! ^_^
(next, might be posting about every individuals in my class... :D )

JPA Scholarship's interview & Majlis Anugerah Kecemerlangan SMK Cyberjaya (9/04/10)
After a break of approximately two months, I'm finally back in blogspot!!!! =D
I've left out a lot of updates (due to laziness..=P & also was quite packed with scholarships' applications processes). But anyway, now I'm gonna try my best to keep myself active in blogspot again.
Now let us get into the story regarding my title.
9th April 2010, Friday; the day where I had to attend two important events at almost THE SAME TIME!
I knew I should give more importance for the JPA's interview but at the same time, being one of the 3 straight 'A's scorer in my school, I also wanted to attend the 'Majlis Anugerah Kecemerlangan Pelajar' badly. I was simply hoping for my name to be in the list of the 1st interview session so that I could rush to my school later for the other event.
The night before the interview, I noticed that I became an insomniac! I couldn't sleep & all kinds of questions started to blew my mind off. But anyway, i still managed to get a total of 2 - 3 hours of sleep. =)
The day came. We (mom, sis & myself) arrived PICC around 7.20am. We checked the name lists and my name was under panel 7 for the 2nd session! "OMG! does this means I COULDN'T make it to my school?!!!". I was kinda upset at that moment. While I was waiting for the interview, I made new friends & they were really sweet! ^_^
Time passed by swiftly and soon it was 8am. The 1st session of the interview should have been started by now but surprisingly, one of the girls who should be there for the 1st session didn't show up herself so they let me to get into the interview room. And I was like "Praise God!! Now I could make it to the 'Majlis Anugerah Kecemerlangan' as well".
So I entered the room with my other group members. They provided us with a sheet of blank paper and we have to bring along our own pen. As we entered the room, we were told to sit in a row; facing the interviewers (there were 3 of them). It began with an introduction session; where each of us were told to share about our family backgrounds in BM. By then, i've lost all my butterflies in my stomach. =P
The others were all random questions such as:
~What course and which country is your choice?
~What will your next plan be if you fail to get this scholarship?
~What will you do for your parents in your future when you have achieved your dreams?
And some other normal questions.
For the discussion part, our question was 'Why the level of cleanliness in Malaysia is low compared to some other countries out there?'. I was told to start up this discussion and I was quite excited too. =)
I was elaborating my thoughts till they passed it to another group mate of mine.
The whole interview session was actually quite relaxing (at least not as bad as I thought).
During the end part, one of the interviewers explained to us that a total of 10 000 students were selected for the interview but eventually, the scholarship will only be given to 1 500 students among the 10 000. Plus, the interview is just 5% of the total criteria that JPA looks at.
After knowing all these, I'm not really putting high hopes on this scholarship but still praying to God for the best though. Even if I do not get this scholarship, I'm still happy that I could at least make it for the interview.
It was a great experience! =D
As soon as we left PICC, we rushed to SMK Cyberjaya for the 'Majlis Anugerah Kecemerlangan' and thank God! I just made it on time! Just after a few minutes I arrived in SMKC, it was my turn to receive my award.
But anyway, the best part was to meet my former teachers and juniors!! Miss smk cyberianz a lot!!! ='(
~ Will alwayz be fresh in my memory ~
Next, we just went to 'lepak' at Alamanda before my sis switched place with me in our Avanza; allowing me to drive back home.. =D
Overall, 9th April 2010 happened to be a memorable day for me.
And about the scholarship, though i mentioned that i didn't put on high hopes for it, deep inside my heart i still hope to get the scholarship.
But anyway, everything is in God's hands and He knows the best for us right?
So no matter what, we gotta keep thanking God and conitnue smiling!! cheese!! ^_^

The SNAKIE experience...
Gosh! I still can't believe what i went through just about an hour ago... I went to the washroom and when I lifted my head after washing my face, lo there was a snake right in front of my eyes; starring at me!!! But anyway, I wasn't really afraid at that particular moment (I've no idea why though). I called my sis and my mom; they were really shocked to see the multi-coloured snake with its 'cute' face. It was about a meter long and I have to say that the snake was just so pretty! We had no heart to kill it but sadly, we HAD TO. And I didn't wanted to miss my chance to take its pictures for 'memories' though...=P
These are some of its pics :
When it was still alive..
Now its dead.. R.I.P Mr. snakie.. ='(
I really thank God nothing happened to me! I wasn't afraid that very moment, but now when I think about it, I feel creepy as the snake could've attacked me easily since it was just too close to my face but then I know that God kept his eyes on me and protected me..=) THANK YOU GOD!! ^_^

Experience at the cockpit of MAS' 777 =)
Being a pilot was actually one of my interests once. But then I had to leave ta desire of mine since there were no lady pilots those days. Now though MAS does not take any lady pilot, there are still other airlines such as Air Asia that accepts lady pilots. But still, I'm afraid to get into this line as the possibilities for a girl to become a pilot is quite low. ='(
Well now onto the story...
When I was in the flight back from New Zealand, the aircraft crews brought me and my sis to the cockpit. Though we've already seen the cockpit before, we felt more excitement this time since the pilot and the co-pilot actually explained to us everything about the use of the control buttons and switches, how they control the flight and what they'll have to do during emergencies. It was really FUN!!!
The pilot then offered us to sit at the cockpit later on and watch the landing part. We were like "That's great!! Thanks a lot!!". As promised, we were brought to the cockpit and we actually watched everything that happens in the cockpit just before landing! Can't believe our eyes! Really, it was a spectacular experience!!
After experiencing all of these, again my interest to become a pilot boosts up! But anyway, we'll just wait and see how things go on. We might plan things, but the final decision is in God's hand. :)

The New Zealand Adventure =)
After more than a year, the JJs are back for an oversea vacation! This time, the country that we decided to visit was New Zealand. We stayed at Sangeetha's house; who is actually an online friend of me and my sis. Though that was our very first time to meet her, we really felt a strong bond with her family. They were just super friendly and sweet!! After about a week of stay at NZ, we landed safely in KLIA on the 23rd of Jan. We were glad that everything went on smoothly and we really hope that we could actually meet Sangeetha and her family again soon. =)

~ "Laughter is an instant vacation" ~
My parents use to say : our life is too short to be wasted; so appreciate every seconds of our lives by enjoying it in a good way. I whole-heartedly agree with this statement too.
It doesn't matter whether we are rich, poor or moderate; we can always lead a happy and peaceful life(exceptable for 'certain' reasons) - it all depends on our own mentality. Happiness and peace are internal attributions of ourselves. It is not possible to get peace or happiness with external materialistic possessions or luxuries ALONE.
What is the point of earning millions and millions but not spending'em at all to have a good time with our loved ones? So in whatever we earn (no matter how much the amount is), for me, I think it would be a good idea to save just a particular amount of money to be used in our future or emergencies. When our savings started to increase than that 'particular' amount, it can be spent in good way for our own satisfaction. After all, we'll not be living in this materialistic world for eternity; so as long as we're on Earth, let us enjoy our lives in a positive way! Remember, earning money is good; but earning peace and happiness is even better! =)
The only way you can live a happy and satisfied life, is when you start doing things that make you happy and satisfied. In this case, my family and I love travelling; so in every single notes that we gain, we'll try to save'em and eventually, we'll look forward for vacations in overseas. We just believe that if there is a will; there is definitely a way!
